Brandon and I have had such a great time working with this couple!  I first met Meghan and Ben back in December when I drove to Jackson for their engagement shoot.  Their February wedding was a BLAST, and we had such an incredible day.  Beginning with a beautiful sunny afternoon and ending the night with some fabulous music and very entertaining dancing at Hal & Mal’s restaurant.  The night was so great!  Then, to top it off, I had the privilege of photographing the couple again just about one month after their wedding.  Ben and Meaghan drove to Ruston for a cool and cloudy afternoon of shooting.  But, despite the weather, we enjoyed the shoot and were able to get some amazing shots of the two of them!

So, I understand that this post is large, but I couldn’t post images from their couple session without backtracking and showing you a few from their engagement session and wedding day.  Enjoy!

one thing I can say about this couple is that this man absolutely brings a smile to his bride’s face. The two of them laughed together throughout the entire session! I loved getting to witness their love for one another, and can’t wait for their wedding this July.

Justin & Amanda

I had such a great day with these two!  Justin and Amanda were both so great to work with, and such a joy to get to know better.  We were blessed with Perfect weather and beautiful lighting for their engagement session. Enjoy this handful of my favorites (OK it’s more than just a “handful,”  but we just had so much to choose from) 

Michael Reid Band

I few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to do my first “band shoot.”  The boys from the “Michael Reid Band” were great and fun to work with.  They are currently the lead band  worship at LA Tech’s BCM’s weekly worship service and have plans to be worship leaders this summer at Centri-Kid camps.  Thanks, guys, for being such sports and letting me experiment a bit.  Here a few of my favorites.

Jennifer’s Belly…..

Jennifer is a great friend of mine, and has blessed me so much this past year with caring for my Makayla while I have had photo shoots.  Well, I’ve now lost my excellent caregiver, but gained another friend who is a mom! She is  great with kids, incredibly gracious and loving.  Carter is so blessed to have she and Kyle as parents.  They are an amazing couple, whom I feel privileged to call my friends.

We took these maternity pictures on a Friday, and Jennifer delivered her precious baby Carter the following Tuesday!  Doesn’t she look great for being just days away from delivery? Stay tuned for Baby Carter’s two week pictures!

Arlyn Boyet

Baby Arlyn was 11 weeks old for this shoot, and just as cute as can be!  Libby and Keith invited me into their home to photograph this precious baby girl, and I loved it!  She is a great, happy baby…….just keep her belly full!    Here are a few of my favorites from our  afternoon together.
