I am in the works with getting an updated, newer, cooler looking blog!  In the mean time, keep up with my work on my FACEBOOK  Fan Page.

Sorry for the inconvenience……see you again soon!

The weekend before Thanksgiving Brandon and I had the opportunity to document a beautiful afternoon wedding in Mandeville.  Max & Shannon have been two of the most amazing people to work with, and it was such a joy for Brandon and I to be able to document the moments of their wedding day!  They were married at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and had their reception at The Lake House on the Mandeville Lakefront.  One of the best parts of the day was the exciting Second Line that the bride, groom and all of their guests enjoyed as they traveled down the road to the reception!  Such a great, classic, Louisiana detail to enjoy!

I must say, Shannon’s dress was absolutely stunning!!

Brandon’s awesome shot of the bride and her Daddy…..

Some details of the awesome second line!

Another great shot of Brandon’s.  I love Shannon’s face peaking through the crowd here…

Kyle & Susan

November 16, 2010

Kyle and Susan are some great friends, as well as colleagues in the photography world.  So, when we were finally able to get a session together in the great city of New Orleans, I was honored to capture their relationship.  Kyle and Susan laughed so much throughout the session, and just went right along with everything.  It was  great session!  They are also expecting their first babe this next Spring!  Welcome into the world of parenting you two.  Ya’ll are going to be amazing parents!

Their photography business is based out of Ruston, LA.  Check out their site

Enjoy a few of my favs….

I love the colors in this photo

Working with the shadows…

I’d say this seems to describe their marriage on some level…

Susan = level headed, calm yet FUN

Kyle = unpredictable! and quite comical

So, I gave you all a teaser of some of my favorite images a few weeks ago (click here to view).  I just finished editing this awesome wedding that Brandon and I shot at Mandeville’s Fleur de Lis Event Center.  Ryan and Melissa are a precious couple, and they definately all know how to enjoy some great music and super fun dancing!  We had so much fun running around, working to capture all of the moments of their day.  This is a super FULL post, so strap in and enjoy viewing all of the images!  Thanks Ryan and Melissa for allowing us to join in on the festivities of your big day!

A little Family Fun…..

October 27, 2010

Last week I got to spend the afternoon photographing one of my favorite families.  Lane is our pastor at Bridge Church, and Brandon and I have been so incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to serve alongside such an amazing family, and learn from such a gifted teacher of God’s word.  Their two boys  are precious, and definitely make me want a little boy of my own…..but I’m just destined for girls!  🙂 We all had such a great time just hanging out, laughing, and taking some fabulous photos! Enjoy some of my favorites.

The amazing couple!

Just a beautiful portrait!

Can’t you just hear the laughter from this image?  🙂
