Halloween Beauties. My precious girls

So, we officailly completed our very first halloween trick or treating!  Makayla dressed up as a lady bug and Olivia was an angel.  Makayla really caught on to the “trick or treat” request, and was enamored by the fact that people just handed her candy.  Funny thing was that once she received the megga laffy taffy, she called it a night!  She refused to go to one more house, so we headed home with her chewing her laffy taffy in wagon.  It was  a great night!

I had such a great afternoon with this incredibly talented senior!  Matthew is a musical genius, and a super great guy!  I had such a great time playing with the sun and light, and getting to know this guy.  Enjoy.

Mya. 2 years!

Jeff and Hailey used to go to church with Brandon and I and we lived just down the road from one another.  They quickly became dear friends, and it was a sad day when they moved to Texas.   It had been far too long since I had gotten to see this family, so when Hailey approached me with the request to photograph Mya’s 2 year pictures, I was more than honored.  These two prayed long and hard to have this precious baby girl, and she is a beautiful representation of their faithfulness in that prayer.  It was SO great to get some time with old friends and have the opportunity to photograph their precious baby girl!  Here are some of my favorites.

Carter J. is 6 months!

I have so enjoyed getting to photograph this little man through his first year! He’s such a joy, and it is my honor to be great friends with their family. Enjoy a few of my favorites from his 6 month session.

New Baby girl – Olivia Ann

So, it has been like 4 months since my last post, but a TON has been going on.!  I had a precious, beautiful baby girl on April 29th and we named her Olivia Ann.  She is such a joy, and I am LOVING being a mom. Makayla is such a great big sister, and I love watching her with Olivia.  Makayla is now 18 months old and in such a fun stage.  She is my smile.  I am so blessed.

NO fear, I am back to work and have several shoots to blog.  I’ve photographed a couple of babies, a family shoot and a wedding.  So, stay tuned to see some of my latest.  Thanks for checking in!

Here’s my newest addition.  Three months old already!

Mr. and Mrs. Brock

Brandon and I have had such a great time working with this couple!  I first met Meghan and Ben back in December when I drove to Jackson for their engagement shoot.  Their February wedding was a BLAST, and we had such an incredible day.  Beginning with a beautiful sunny afternoon and ending the night with some fabulous music and very entertaining dancing at Hal & Mal’s restaurant.  The night was so great!  Then, to top it off, I had the privilege of photographing the couple again just about one month after their wedding.  Ben and Meaghan drove to Ruston for a cool and cloudy afternoon of shooting.  But, despite the weather, we enjoyed the shoot and were able to get some amazing shots of the two of them!

So, I understand that this post is large, but I couldn’t post images from their couple session without backtracking and showing you a few from their engagement session and wedding day.  Enjoy!

one thing I can say about this couple is that this man absolutely brings a smile to his bride’s face. The two of them laughed together throughout the entire session! I loved getting to witness their love for one another, and can’t wait for their wedding this July.
